When we were about to open this bar, it was so important to us that music didn’t become something you could excel in. There are already plenty of places with hierarchies, and for us, music should be a safe space. That’s also why you won’t find music quizzes here—they can create the feeling that music is something only some people know a lot about, while others don’t. WELL, last Saturday we had our first real taste of what we do want music to be at our bar: fun and for everyone. The bar was packed, and everyone sang along. It was the most beautiful experience. Thank you so much, @fayoonao , for creating such a unique vibe, and thank you to everyone who came and showed us all that music is truly about joy and connection. Oh, and on top of having fun, we raised 3,000 DKK for UNICEF’s work in Gaza. <3 So many colors, so here’s everything in black and white
